The Hierophant is a card of tradition, wisdom, and spiritual guidance. He represents the institutionalized forms of religion and education, and the role of the teacher or mentor in guiding others. He can signify a need to seek out spiritual guidance, follow established rules and traditions, and find meaning and purpose in life. However, he can also represent dogma, conformity, and a need to challenge established beliefs and find your own path.
